Caryl Pagel is the author of Experiments I Should Like Tried At My Own Death (2012) and Twice Told (2014). She is a poetry editor at jubilat and the co-founder and editress-in-chief of Rescue Press. This fall she will be the incoming Director of the Cleveland State University Poetry Center as well as faculty for the NEOMFA program in eastern Ohio.
LAuren Haldeman's first poetry collection, Calenday, is forthcoming from Rescue Press in fall 2014. She was recently part of the 2014 PedalArt poster show at the Des Moines Social Club. Also: she’s a mom and makes paintings.
Jennifer Perrine is the author of The Body Is No Machine (New Issues, 2007), winner of the 2008 Devil’s Kitchen Reading Award in Poetry, and In the Human Zoo(University of Utah Press, 2011), recipient of the 2010 Agha Shahid Ali Poetry Prize. Jennifer teaches in the English department and directs the Women’s and Gender Studies program at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and serves as Associate Editor at Tupelo Quarterly and on the advisory board of the Rumpus Poetry Book Club. Jennifer L. Knox's new book of poems, Days of Shame and Failure, will be published by Bloof Books in 2015. Her other books, The Mystery of the Hidden Driveway,Drunk by Noon and A Gringo Like Me, are also available on Bloof. Jennifer was born in Lancaster, California—home to Frank Zappa, Captain Beefheart, and the Space Shuttle. She received her B.A. from the University of Iowa, and her M.F.A. in poetry writing from New York University. Her poems have appeared four times in the Best American Poetry series (1997, 2003, 2006, and 2011) as well as the anthologies Great American Prose Poems, From Poet to Present and Best American Erotic PoemsHer work has also appeared in publications such as The New Yorker, American Poetry Review, Fence, McSweeney's, and Bomb. She lives outside Ames, Iowa, and is at work on a novel.
